This architecturally designed new custom home is located in Currumbin Beach. City Contracting worked closely with local architect John Saunders to fulfil our clients brief. To create a low maintenance home that allowed for a growing family. There were many external factors that had to be taken into consideration during construction.

These included:

• Acoustic requirements
• Relaxations
• Ocean scour zones
• Close proximity of neighbours
• No on street parking

The home has a number of custom features allowing the residents to maximise their beachside location and limited space due to a tight block. The 4 metre high ceiling to the lower level allows views from the 2nd storey over another new property to the beach.  This feature worked well as it allowed our clients a view over the beach they would have otherwise not had if they hadn’t had their home architecturally designed. The lower floor is centralised around the pool allowing for entertaining and relaxing to be achieved all in the one zone. With plenty of areas to escape to there is the media room for a movie or upstairs for some quiet time to soak in the view. We worked closely with our clients throughout the build and selecting the fixtures and fittings to ensure the best possible results. Our clients have a beautiful architecturally designed home, which maximises the use of space on a very tight block.
